Most feathers and furs need to be cleaned and have all the oils removed or the dyes will not take. This is especially true of waterfowl feathers. A small amount (1 tablespoon per quart) of our degreaser in hot water will soak and prep furs and feathers for dying.

Designed for feathers and furs. If you are tired of the results from department store dyes, try these highly concentrated, vibrant dyes. About 1/2 tsp per quart of water, depending on the depth of color desired. See the book A.K.
